When I am doing a Day in the Life family film session, I love to take cues about the session from the family’s home. This family lives in a groovy mid-century home, so we went full Mad Men style with these dapper young ones. These boys were so great about playing the part and getting into character, which highlights their easygoing nature. Water martinis and and virgin white Russians (aka Milk), anyone? This family film session also captured a new theme I have been playing with–the All Grown Up sessions. I love how this session turned out–and it all came organically out of the vibe of the family’s style. I can’t even tell you how much I love the Portra color film and Kodak Tri-X black and white film for this session, because it oozes 1960s style photography!
